The tram’s route that takes about an hour includes major attractions like Alfama’s facade, Martim Moniz, Graca, Monastery of St. Vincente, the basilica of Estrela and many more.
Because of the high number of tourists using the tram as a sightseeing transport, it’s better to take an official sightseeing tram for a guaranteed seat around the capital.
