Melbourne Zoo

Melbourne Zoo invites families to get to know over 300 species of animals. Toddlers can interact with monkeys and giraffes, visit an orangutan sanctuary, a spectacular butterfly house or walk the elephant trail.

The zoo features interactive displays, stimulating sights and sounds to intrigue even the little ones.

If you like to plan ahead, pre-order new food hampers and picnic lunch boxes (at least five days prior) and your day at the zoo will get a lot easier. Wear comfy shoes and take a pram for the kid.

Tickets: Adults – $38, Children – $19 on weekdays, FREE on weekends, and for kids under 3s. Bookings are required.
