Cougal Cascade is a beautiful place featuring a stunning waterfall and easy rainforest walk suitable for all ages as well as assisted wheelchair users and families with strollers.
The walking track is only 1.6 km return and starts straight from the car park. The relatively short track offers a meandering walk through the subtropical rainforest while watching for a number of birds and animals like kookaburras, whip birds, and the land mullet.
But the highlight of the trail is the Cougal Cascades plunging down the cliff into a large pool.
Currumbin Rock Pools are worth a visit if you’re looking for an easily-accessible swimming hole for all ages.
The sealed car park at the Currumbin Valley includes home to toilet facilities and a couple of picnic tables.
