Carmo Convent

Carmo Church & Convent is the ruins of a gothic church, that survived the 1755 earthquake. It holds a small archaeological museum with a collection of tombs, statuary, ceramics and mosaics.

Prepare your toddler for gothic revelations like the shrunken heads, South American mummies, ancient tombstones, Visigothic artefacts and coins that date back to the 13th century.
